I also do not like eating a block of cheese. But..

June of 2009, while driving through a small town in Peloponnesse, Greece, we discovered a resturant looking more like a shack than a resturant.

They served Greek salad of course ( it was like my 200th Greek salad on that trip) and Gyro.

That Greek salad was something else.

The tomato tasted like it was hanging on a vine 30 min ago...

..and there is the cheese.. was that even cheese?

it was more like crack.. I will never forget that meal.

Flannel Slut

So I've decided to overdo flannel.

Since I am tiny enough to fit in Abercrombie Kids clothing, I bought several shirts from them.

I saved like $20 each over A&F.

To be perfectly honest, I did not know flannel was so in. I felt flanneling months ago, was looking for good colors, and found them.

2 years earlier, I felt like flowering so I bought all these fabric flowers, put them on my T-shirts and Jackets. we call it 'Half Food', since we get so little for the money.

Whole Food pays its employee minimum wages while charging its customers $6 per LB for tomatoes. Trader Joe's does the opposite; no misunderstanding, they don't pay you by the lb (of your weight).

Having TJ within 2 miles from my house makes me forget the humiliation of being bridge and tunnel people; we moved from Manhattan to NJ a couple years ago.
